| Morphological description: | ACT (DA2/VA2-VA3) is an oligoglomerular uACTI (unilateral ACT relay interneuron), or an olfactory projection neuron which projects from the glomeruli DA2, VA2 and VA3 of the antennal lobe. Its axon bifurcates into two major branches at the input site, one of which innervates DA2 and the other innervates both VA2 and VA3. |
